An appointment booked in advance is required in order to see our practice nurse who is qualified to do basic medical screening, asthma and diabetes checks, blood pressure measurement, contraceptive advice, cervical smear, dressing, injections, child and adult immunisations, post natal checks, travel vaccinations and other nursing procedures.

It is essential the you keep your appointment for regular cervical smear as these can detect cancer at a very early and curable stage.

It is important that you have your blood pressure checked every time a prescription for the contraceptive pill or HRT is renewed.

The practice nurse will not issue other types of repeat prescriptions.
